1970 M20-E

I Purchased N9473V in Sept of 1993 and have spent more on upgrades than I paid for it. The upgrades includes a new auto pilot and new radios and IFR gps .

The exterior has nearly all the speed mods including a 201 cowling & Windshield. The custom paint design was done in 2000 at Mena, Arkansas and won the best of  show the same year at the MAPA convention in San Antonio.

The engine has just over 700 hrs smoh and is performing very well and using very little oil between changes. I change my own oil and have noticed that oil leaks seemed to be getting worse. 

After inspection at the local FBO the Crankshaft seal was found to be leaking and needing to be replaced. Also other leaks were found at the base of #1 & #3 cylinders and would have to be pulled out to install new o-rings and other seals. Below are photos of the work being performed.
